We spent this past weekend at Mike and Leah's house in Brigham City for Peach Days. It is an annual tradition to go to their house, stay up really late Friday night playing board games, have breakfast together Saturday morning, and then head for the parade. A little competition has started between some in our family to see who can come home with the most free t-shirts that are thrown out at the parade. Jim got two, Katrina got two (although she did give one to Mike), and Eric got one. So funny!! You should see them yelling for t-shirts, and frisbees too. I think we came home with five frisbees to go with the three from last year. It is so much fun for all of us to get together and a little friendly competition never hurt anybody. The funniest moment was Mom and Mike playing Scrabble with all of us trying to help Mike who was really behind. We laughed so hard at some of the words we were trying to get him to play.
Candy!! Candy!!!
Jacob is in kindergarten this year, so he got to participate in the children's parade Friday night. Leah is such a great mom to walk the parade route with Ryan in tow.
Once again, Mike and Leah have been our entertainment committee. Thanks for everything!!!

I remember your mom playing Scrabble all the time at your house growing up. She would have the dictionary out making sure nobody made up words. She was Queen of the Scrabble Board. I can remember your Mom and Aunt playing everytime she came to visit. Oh, the good ol' days.
They still play like crazy. They even went through a phase where they played each other online.
Looks like it was a lot of fun... but was this supposed to be the big 5K race that you were all going to run? If so, what happened? If not, when is it?
Well, what I thought was a 5K was actually a 10K, and that was way too far for me to run! I tried run/walking part of the course and was sore for days. It is very hilly!! So, we all wimped out. LOL!
I obviously didn't have my dictionary out enough because I let Mike get away with playing "stich" and "savy." LOL
