My loving sister, Michelle, who by the way is the BEST sister ever, sent me the best birthday present of all time! A pasta maker!! 
I have been wanting one for years and had so much fun making homemade fettuccine tonight.

Last night the boys participated in the Pinewood Derby. They had a great time making their cars and then racing them. Although neither of the boys placed 1st, Jim and I were so proud of them for being good sports. While other boys were crying, Caleb said, "I don't know what they're crying about, it's only our 1st Pinewood Derby. I'll probably do better next time." (His car always came in 3rd.) Let me tell you, that was one of the proudest parenting moments I have ever had! Christopher came in 3rd overall out of the Webelos and was pretty excited about that. I am so proud of my sweet scouts!!
When they got home they put their cars and their participation ribbons on the bookshelf in the living room in their places of honor.
